ZEN
ZEN is a geometric composition that goes beyond the definition of a classic shelving unit. Its minimalist form and rhythmic divisions create a spatial sculpture in which the storage function becomes an integral part of the design.
ZEN was designed with vinyl records in mind; each segment has proportions tailored to their storage. However, this is just one possibility. Placed on the optional turntable base, it allows you to change the perspective, while laid on its side, it takes on a completely new function, becoming a coffee table.
ZEN is a form that does not impose a single way of use. It allows you to compose the space on your own terms, remaining a striking object regardless of what role you assign it.
Even more? That is possible. You can order ZEN with the turntable option. This means that a specially prepared system by us will be attached under its base, allowing ZEN to rotate 360 degrees.
Every SALAK piece of furniture is handcrafted in our own workshop in Dobrzewino, in Pomerania, about 20 km from Gdynia. It is here, from the initial stage of work to the final finish, that we give our designs their final form. We create them personally as the brand's founders. Combining an original vision with direct work with the material, experience, and attention to every detail.
