SU

SU is one of SALAK's flagship designs. Its form is based on the simple gesture of a wooden sphere, which becomes the heart of the entire design. Hand-turned from solid wood, each sphere has its own unique grain pattern. Nature does not create two identical patterns, which is why no two SU pieces are the same. It is precisely the uniqueness of the natural material that gives the table its individual character.

Small and unassuming, SU quickly becomes one of those pieces of furniture that it is difficult to imagine living without. It can have its permanent place by the sofa or bed, but just as easily wander around the house, always wherever you happen to need it. For a cup of coffee, a set-down book, or small items you want to keep at hand. Its form makes it easy to fit even into small spaces, without losing its sculptural character.

SU is one of SALAK's most recognizable designs. It has been with us since 2020 and remains an important part of the brand's history. It is proof that simple form, natural material, and thoughtful detail can stand the test of time.

Every SALAK piece of furniture is handcrafted in our own workshop in Dobrzewino, in Pomerania, about 20 km from Gdynia. It is here, from the initial stage of work to the final finish, that we give our designs their final form. We create them personally  as the brand's founders. Combining an original vision with direct work with the material, experience, and attention to every detail.
